AutoCAD Civil 3D Level 2 class at Bellingham Technical College

The Bellingham AutoCAD User Group is proud to sponsor the new AutoCAD Civil 3D class to be held at Bellingham Technical School this Summer. The course information is as follows:

Item 7407-1 ENGR 207, AutoCAD Civil 3D Level 2

Start Date June 30, End Date September 3

Tuesday and Thursday evenings 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. in J-6A

10 Week Course - 60 hours/5 Credits

Fee: $350.25

Instructor: David Bren, PE

Course Description:

This course is a practical hands-on civil/survey CAD Lab experience. Students will work through an advanced Civil 3D project from beginning to end, showing many different methods of using Civil 3D to accomplish certain tasks and solve problems along the way. The course covers advanced elements of horizontal and vertical alignments, corridor modeling, plan production tools, pipe design tools, grading tools, and working with Autodesk Vault project management tools. Students are encouraged to continue their learning with the Level 3 course.

Prerequisite: completion of the Level 1 Civil 3D course or instructor permission. This course is for users that already have basic Civil 3D training.

• Course prerequisites: Completion of the level 1 Civil 3D course or by special instructor permission.

• If the course goes well, a Civil 3D - Level 3 course on style standards for CAD managers may be offered as a follow up.
